Redliner Maps
Map knowledge in Redliner translates directly to combat advantage. Knowing grapple routes, wallrun paths, and high-ground positions lets you control engagements before they start.
FFA Arena
The primary Free-For-All map used in Battlegrounds and general play, created by lunaticyz. This arena features multiple vertical layers and open sightlines.
- Multi-level design with platforms, walls, and open ground areas.
- Numerous wallrun surfaces along arena walls — use them to escape ground-level fights.
- Grapple anchor points on upper structures for rapid vertical repositioning.
- Central areas see the most traffic — approach with caution or avoid entirely.
- Edge areas offer safer rotation paths when third-partying in Battlegrounds.
- Practice the full map route: spawn → wallrun → grapple → slide-dash across the arena.
2v2 Arena
The dedicated 2v2 Wingman map designed by asciimynetzach. Smaller and more structured than the FFA arena, designed for team combat.
- Compact layout forces close-range engagements and team coordination.
- Fewer escape routes than the FFA map — positioning mistakes are punished harder.
- Team grapple combos can cover the entire map in seconds — plan routes with your partner.
- High ground on this map provides strong gun angles — contest it early.
- Learn spawn positions to predict opponent approach angles.
Map Tips
Universal positioning principles that apply to every Redliner map:
- Always know your nearest grapple point — it's your emergency escape.
- High ground wins gunfights; low ground wins melee ambushes.
- Don't fight in the center unless you have a clear advantage.
- Use wallrun surfaces to break line of sight during Instability recovery.
- Memorize one full-speed route across each map before focusing on combat.
- In team modes, control one side of the map together rather than splitting.
